This funding supports structural improvements to community facilities or assets to help residents participate more in community life and/or improve the environmental performance of the facility. This category can fund up to $10,000 towards the project costs.
Applications must address at least one or more of the Community Grants Objectives and be for a facility located in Merri-bek.
Eligibility:
To be eligible for this grant groups must:
• Be a not-for-profit community group, organisation or club,
• Be incorporated or auspiced by another incorporated organisation,
• Have adequate Public Liability Insurance,
• Be able to meet the conditions associated with receiving this grant.
These documents must be ready to upload and attach:
• Quotes for all budget items (compulsory).
• Current Public Liability Insurance Policy
• Most recent Financial Statements
• Evidence of Landower approval
• Schematic Plans of works proposal
• Letters iof support from other organisations that will also be using the facility
• Demonstrate complying with the Child Safe Standards by uploading a copy of your organisation’s Child Safe Policy or Statement of Commitment to Child Safety (if relevent)
